25th Post...Much to your chagrin.

With this being my 25th post I figured I would make it different then the rest. I would like to address video games, strangely enough. If you or anyone you know thinks you are good at a video game, think again. You may think you "body" people all the time on your game. But that is irrevelent because you're playin' scrubs. I run every video game. I repeat,I RUN EVERY(YES EVERY) VIDEO GAME! Sports games are kinda' weak so people may pose a a threat. I've body so many people at games they though they were good at, I've lost count. I put the names out there, but that would be crude. I beast at all games, but when it comes to the following just say no; Gears of War 1 & 2, Halo 2 & 3, Super Smash Brothers: 1st & Melee & Brawl, Fight Night 1-3.Call of Duty games and Street Fighter IV. Definately Street Fighter IV, the last guy I played in that I beat 16 times, and he won...never. After the 16 I started to just go down the entire roster but he quit after the 1st row. Most kids brag outrageous but I really do this game ish.

If you doubt it, come see me.

No Country for Old Men

My 2nd favorite movie hands down. This movie comes 2nd only to the masterpiece that is Pulp Fiction. I can assume half the appeal comes from the emotionless gaze that is on Anton Chigurh's(Javier Bardem) face the whole movie. I enjoy violent movies and this movie delivers that in a courteous manner. The movie is a tad bit long, almost as long as There Will Be Blood, never mind that, its only 2 hours. The character development in this movie is absurdly good. The Coen brothers force you to learn the characters way of thinking. If you are a movie-phile like my self, I would recommend this greatly. My favorite parts amidst all the killing, is the scene when Anton goes to a gas station. The dialogue during this scene is probably the funniest part of the whole movie.

Frost/Nixon

An exceptional historical piece. Richard Millhous Nixon,37th President of the United States, undoubtedly most famous for the Watergate scandal. In this film by Ron Howard, a british tv show host, David Frost is looking to stretch his broadcasting ability. So anyway, Nixon resigns from Presidency, yadda yadda, when Frost sees the oppurtunity for a controversial interview he takes it. He pays half the cost of the interview by his self. Nixon request 200k just to be on the show. Basically, in the interview at first Nixon is "bodying" Frost with his responses. Then towards the climax Frost starts to "go hard" and he manages to "smash" Nixon. The actor who portrayed Nixon did a good job. I recommend this movie to anyone who doesn't just watch movies with big guns and massive explosions.

Notorious

The autobiographical film of Christopher "Notorious B.i.G." Wallace. This film does good job of showcasing the life of arguably, the best rapper ever. A lot of rappers only claim to do illegal activities. "Biggie Smalls", actually did the things he rapped about. If you want to see what all the hype is about concerning Mr.Wallace, you should sit down and watch how he came to be. The film also shows the level of fidelity that a popular rapper can show. I can undeniably say that Biggie Smalls was the King of NY. With only 2 albums,1 posthumous, he built a legend. Some people may debate who the crown got passed to, after his passing but I know who that is, Hova, of course.

The Führer situation...

In other news,Adolf Hitler's birthday was on Monday. April 20th,2009 marked the 120 year anniversary of the dictators birth. A time for many people to remeber the pain and agony of their history, while some rejoiced in the streets. Mobs of skinheads clustered the streets and paraded around town in Argentina. The event was shut down for all the disparaging remarks that were propagated through out the streets. The only thing worth noting this week.

This post does not confirm any Neo-Nazi Affiliations.

The Spirit

Phenomenal cinema. Fans of prior Frank Miller works, will be greately intrigued by this. The movie continues to use the formula that made 300 a hit movie. Character development is present and is explored through the use of visually appealing cut scenes. The Spirit is based off a comic book, pardon me, graphic novel of the same name. This movie can also draw fans of Samuel L. Jackson as he plays "The Octopus", the primary antagonist to the crime fighter vigilante, who is seemingly impervious to harm. The film is great, I recommend that anyone is likes good flick.

There Will Be Blood

Good movie overall.Although it is a tad bit on the long side.It clocks in at a whopping 163 minutes. The film chronicles the life of oil tycoon,Daniel Plainview. A stellar performance by Daniel Day Lewis. That isn't uncommon though, all of Daniel Day Lewis performance are nothing short of a method actor's ability. This movie is a blatant slap in the face to movies that rush the plot along. That is a good thing.
Spoilers: The ending of the movie is very climatic. The way that Plainview berates Eli Sunday is hillarious.
